The project envisages an extension of the existing tailings pond for storage of fayalite waste, consisting of two cells – A and B, of a total living area of 446,6 decares, which will be built in 8 stages up to the height of the existing landfill. The cells are surrounded by earth-dykes, protected by an insulating screen and equipped with drainage systems.
