At a meeting of the Bureau of the Investment Council to the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) held on April 13, 2021, the Glavbolgarstroy Holding AD application for membership in the organization was approved.

The Investment Council was established in 2017. Its members are private investors, investment funds, banks, financial institutions, state and municipal funds and investment agencies, investment-related organizations and others. The Council carries out a wide range of activities, including: development and presentation of investment projects; presentation of financial and investment products; review of projects for financing by the Council members; assistance in carrying out transactions between members; organisation and participation in seminars and forums.

The accession of Glavbolgarstroy Holding AD to the Investment Council was officially marked at a meeting held between the management of BCCI and GBS. It was held in the BCCI headquarters in Sofia and was attended by Eng. Kamen Peshov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Eng. Albena Angelova, Executive Director of Glavbolgarstroy Holding AD. The event was hosted by Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the BCCI and Mr. Vladimir Tomov, Chairman of the Investment Council.

During the talks, Eng. Peshov presented the activities of Glavbolgarstroy Holding AD and some of the larger infrastructure projects on which the company works at the moment. Various aspects of the business environment where the Holding operates were discussed, as well as existing possibilities for closer cooperation between BCCI and GBS. The management of GBS also provided information on properties owned by the corporate group in different regions of the country, regarding which the company is ready to consider plans for the implementation of joint investment projects with other potential investors.
