Glavbolgarstroy discusses in Washington mutual partnership with the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU)
The Chairman of the Management Board of Glavbolgarstroy Holding (GBS), Kalin Peshov, together with Plamena Nenkova, Deputy Executive Director “International Cooperations, Strategies and Communications” at the holding and Mr. Symeon G. Tsomokos, Member of the Advisory Board of the construction company, held a meeting with Petar Tichanski, President and Executive Director of the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU).
The focal point of their discussions was the potential cooperation and acceptance of GBS as a member of the American based business organization. During the talks, Mr. Kalin Peshov presented the corporate structure’s willingness to contribute to the future priorities of the global community.
BCIU was established in 1955 at the "Industrial Cooperation Council Conference" in the White House. From its foundation to the present days, the Business Council unites leading global corporations from various spheres of the economy and industry. Among the organization’s members are large multinational companies from around the world.
Based in New York (USA) and guided by the understanding that business is the best platform for change, BCIU creates the conditions and opportunities to establish robust public-private partnerships that aim to deepen collaboration between business community, political class, non-governmental sector, and the academia. The Business Council’s mission is to put the important issues, priorities and challenges that the businesses face on the agenda, and thus to encourage dialogue between all stakeholders.
