The general manager of “Glavbolgarstroy” presented the “Academic Oscar” to the rector of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia

23 rectors were honored at the awarding ceremony of the universities that are first in their fields in the rating of higher education institutions. This year's survey reported three main positive trends - Bulgarian students are increasingly achieving professional success after graduation, universities are attracting more and more students from abroad, and unemployment among graduates is extremely low.

The general manager of Glavbolgarstroy Holding, Svetoslav Lyubomirov, presented an award to Prof. Senya Terzieva, Rector of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia. The University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy was rated the highest in three separate professional areas - "Materials and Materials Science", "Metallurgy", and "Chemical Technologies". "I want to congratulate the management of the university. You are facing a number of challenges related to the transition to a cleaner Europe and a cleaner planet," said Lyubomirov.

Official guests at the event of "24 Chasa" included Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, Sofia's Metropolitan Mayor Vasil Terziev, Minister of Education Prof. Galin Tsokov, Minister of Innovation Milena Stoycheva, and President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Yulian Revalski, among others.
