Today, the renovated building of the Central Railway Station in Sofia was officially opened.

It now meets the modern requirements for such a site. Its vast unused areas have been redeveloped for places to eat, shops, children’s playground, office area, multifunctional sports hall.
The renovation was carried out under the project “Rehabilitation of Sofia Central Railway Station”. It was implemented within the Operational Program “Transport 2007 – 2013”. The scope of the implemented activities is design and construction. The total value of the site is BGN 61,549,729. It is realized by the company under the Law on Obligations and Contracts “Obedinenie GBS – Sofia Central Railway Station”, with a leading partner “Glavbolgarstroy”.
