Purpose

The International Advisory Board of Glavbolgarstroy builds on the company’s expertise in leading topics of European and global importance and supports the work of the holding structure with valuable guidelines and a vision for the future, based on the experience of publicly recognized leaders and professionals.

The members of the International Advisory Board follow trends in international markets, provide analyses of the macroeconomic, geopolitical, political, social, and environmental contexts, based on which strategic recommendations are developed to discover new business opportunities and perspectives, ensuring the continuation of the company’s sustainable development course.

The Board focuses its efforts on four main areas: business development, public affairs and international relations, corporate social responsibility and management, marketing, and communications.

Günter Verheugen

Chairman of the International Advisory Board

Günter Verheugen has a long career with more than 40 years in politics. In that time he has held a number of high-level advisory and governmental positions. Günter Verheugen was a member of the European Commission, responsible for enlargement between 1999 and 2004.

In his second term, from 2004 to 2010 he served as Vice-President in charge of enterprise and industry and in this capacity he was the European chairperson of the Transatlantic Economic Council. Prior to this he was a prominent member of the German parliament for 16 years. His parliamentary career saw him play leading roles in the Foreign Affairs and European Union Special committees while he was also a Federal Party Manager and Minister of State in the Federal Foreign Office.

Günter Verheugen is Honorary Professor of the Viadrina University in Frankfurt/Oder. He served as Director of the Goerdeler College for good governance between 2012 and 2020. He is editor but also author of a number of books, essays and articles.

Гюнтер Ферхойген има дългогодишна кариера – повече от 40 години в политиката. През този период той е заемал редица длъжности на високо ниво.

Г-н Ферхойген е бил член на Европейската комисия с водеща роля в процеса на разширяване на Европейския съюз в годините между 1999 и 2004.

През втория си мандат от 2004 г. до 2010 г. той е вицепрезидент, отговарящ за предприятията и индустрията, както и председател за Европа на Трансатлантическия икономически съвет. Преди това той е водеща политическа фигура в германския парламент в продължение на 16 години. Парламентарният му опит го отвежда към постове в специалните комисии по външните работи и Европейския съюз, като същевременно е бил мениджър на Федералната партия и държавен министър във Федералното външно министерство.

Гюнтер Ферхойген е почетен професор в Европейския университет “Виадрина” във Франкфурт на Одер. Бил е директор на програма "The Carl Friedrich Goerdeler Kolleg for Good Governance" в периода 2012 - 2020 г. Той е редактор и автор на редица книги, есета и статии.

Dr. Anne Blunzer serves as the Executive Director of the Ralph Low Energy Institute. She is an Energy educator and Professor of Management and Leadership at Texas Christian University (USA).

In her role as Executive Director of the Ralph Low Energy Institute, she has been actively involved since 2013 in shaping new strategic directions and overseeing the Energy MBA program, which has garnered several prestigious awards.

Като изпълнителен директор на Института по енергетика, от 2013 година насам д-р Блънцер работи за създаването на нови стратегически насоки в “Energy MBA” програмата за енергетика, спечелила многобройни престижни награди.

Simeon Tsomokos

Simeon Tsomokos is the founder and president of the "Delphi Economic Forum" and honorary consul of the Republic of Serbia in Greece. He is also founder of the Greece-USA Business Council, the Greek-Hungarian Business Council, the Greek-Egyptian Business Council, and in 2006 he founded the Greece-Serbia Chamber of Commerce, which he chairs.

In his early roles, he served as the CEO of the American-Greek Chamber of Commerce from 1980 to 1997. Mr. Tsomokos held the position of Secretary General of the Council of American Chambers of Commerce based in Europe from 1990 to 1993, and he also served as Secretary General of the Greece-Turkey Business Council from 1993 to 1998.

Симеон Цомокос е основател и президент на "Делфи икономически форум" и почетен консул на Република Сърбия в Гърция. Основател е на Бизнес съвета Гърция-САЩ, гръцко-унгарския бизнес съвет, гръцко-египетския бизнес съвет, а през 2006 г. създава Търговската камара Гърция-Сърбия, която председателства.

В миналото той е заемал поста главен изпълнителен директор в Американо-гръцката търговска камара (1980-1997).  Г-н Цомокос е бил генерален секретар на Съвета на американските търговски камари, базиран в Европа (1990-1993) и генерален секретар на Бизнес съвета Гърция-Турция (1993-1998).
