Environmental, Social & Governance
Shaping the future of GBS
Environmentally and socially responsible initiatives determine our future here at GBS.
Environmental
Furthermore, GBS performs measurements each year to stimulate positive and prevent negative effects on the environment. This has been laid down based on environmental permits and is enforced by the government. On top of this, GBS reports energy consumptions annually and commits to the related objectives.
Finally, our GBS group companies are EN ISO 9001:2015, EN ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and EN ISO 50001:2018 certified, in order to be able to demonstrate that we carry out activities in a structural manner to guarantee the quality, safety and environmental management of the processes and products.
Social
Accountability for the overall impact of GBS’s decisions and activities on society and the environment also implies its responsibility to those affected by its decisions and actions, as well as to society as a whole.
Furthermore, GBS supports and complies with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Children’s Rights Convention and the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions. On this basis, GBS strives to increase its influence on the human rights situation throughout its supply chain.
WE CONNECT. WE CREATE. WE INSPIRE.
