“Glavbolgarstroy” deepens its strategic partnership with Uzbekistan
On June 25, 2025, at the headquarters of Glavbolgarstroy in Sofia, a bilateral agreement was signed between the Agency for Migration under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Bulgarian construction holding company Glavbolgarstroy. The document outlines a joint commitment to the organized recruitment of Uzbek citizens for temporary employment in Bulgaria.
The signed agreement reflects both parties' readiness to establish a stable, legally regulated, and efficient system for labor mobility, with an emphasis on worker safety, fair compensation, and social protection. Due to its social and economic significance, the bilateral cooperation is positioned as a key mechanism for addressing challenges in the labor market.
The agreement builds upon the already established direction of partnership between Bulgaria and Uzbekistan. Just two weeks earlier, on June 11, 2025, in Tashkent, within the framework of the 4th International Investment Forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Glavbolgarstroy Holding AD and the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
These consecutive initiatives demonstrate the shared vision of both countries to develop a stable and long-term platform for cooperation in strategic areas, including labor mobility, the development of transport and energy infrastructure, and the promotion of high value-added investments.
