Glavbolgarstroy held a meeting with leading U.S. Oil Producer
Kalin Peshov, Chairman of the Management Board of Glavbolgarstroy, held a meeting with Harold Hamm – founder of Continental Resources, one of the top ten independent oil companies in the United States and the largest privately held oil company in the country.
Continental Resources is known for implementing innovative technologies and utilizing resources that play a key role in advancing the United States' energy independence and leadership. The future of energy and the new opportunities that emerging technologies create for the development of the energy market were among the central topics of discussion between the two leaders.
The meeting took place at the Hamm Institute for American Energy at Oklahoma State University. The Institute, established at Harold Hamm's initiative, is dedicated to promoting U.S. energy independence and leadership, while addressing some of the greatest challenges facing the energy sector.
During the conversation, Kalin Peshov presented the main areas of activity at Glavbolgarstroy, including the company’s current energy projects and the integration of advanced technologies into its production processes. The discussion also touched upon investments in education and scientific research.
Mr. Hamm shared his commitment to preparing the next generation of energy leaders through various initiatives. These include the founding of the Harold Hamm School of Geology and Geological Engineering at the University of North Dakota, as well as the establishment of the Harold Hamm International Prize for Biomedical Research in Diabetes – a biennial financial award recognizing leading researchers in the biomedical field. He also supports numerous educational initiatives across the country, including scholarships and capital fundraising campaigns for schools.
Harold Hamm has been named one of TIME magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” for his role in creating thousands of jobs in the oil industry and his dedication to supporting education, energy research, and healthcare.
