Glavbolgarstroy introduced the Bulgarian competitiveness landscape at the GFCC Global Innovation Summit
Glavbolgarstroy was part of the 2025 GFCC Global Innovation Summit “Forging the Future: The Intersection of Health, AI and Tech”, that took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in late October. The event hosted by the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, brought together over 300 participants from 20 countries to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming different industries. Among the esteemed speakers were Pennsylvania’s Governor Josh Shapiro and U.S. Senators Dave McCormick and John Fetterman.
Participants had the opportunity to learn first-hand on a series of issues impacting competitiveness, including health-tech trends, strategies to advance place-making innovation and the pathway to build sustainable advanced manufacturing.
The Panel “Advanced Manufacturing in a Dynamic Economy” gave insights on how the modern manufacturing is digital, sustainable and knowledge-intensive. It explored how to scale next-generation manufacturing—powered by AI, advanced materials and zero-waste systems—across America and the global industrial landscape.
A key speaker at the discussion was Kalin Marinov, Head of International Affairs, Strategic Development and ESG at Glavbolgarstroy. Further to his contribution to the panel`s topic he presented the Bulgarian competitiveness landscape and the ongoing establishment of the Bulgarian Advisory Council on Competitiveness which was a prelude to the official announcement that the GFCC Global Innovation Summit 2026 will be in Bulgaria hosted by Glavbolgarstroy.
