Glavbolgarstroy participates in Build Europe Congress 2025 in Gdańsk

On 12 and 13 June 2025, Glavbolgarstroy (GBS) took part in the Build Europe Congress held in Gdańsk, Poland. The event brought together leading representatives from the European construction and housing sector, offering a platform for exchanging ideas on how to tackle the most pressing challenges currently facing the industry.

The Congress focused on key topics such as housing affordability, the regulatory environment, and the transition towards greener construction practices. These themes are central to GBS’s ongoing work in Bulgaria and South-Eastern Europe, where the company continues to balance the engagement in large-scale infrastructure projects with sustainability and quality in housing delivery.

GBS was represented by Plamena Nenkova, Deputy Executive Director "International Affairs & Business Development" of Glavbolgarstroy Holding, and Radoslav Kotlarov, Executive Director of GBS Invest. Both took part in high-level discussions with European partners and policymakers, sharing insights from the Bulgarian market and highlighting the importance of stable regulation, investor confidence, and international cooperation.

The event also allowed GBS to continue building its network and profile across the EU and to strengthen its ties within Build Europe - the federation representing European developers and homebuilders. After co-hosting the 2024 edition in Sofia, GBS reaffirmed its commitment to supporting a resilient, innovative, and sustainable construction sector.

Furthermore, the event was coordinated by the Head of GBS’ Brussels Office, Federico Nahuel Lazzari, who also serves as Secretary General of Build Europe. By participating actively in the Build Europe community, GBS continues to demonstrate its dedication to shaping the future of the European built environment, while proudly representing the Bulgarian construction industry at an international stage.
