The document lays the foundation for a strategic partnership in key sectors of public and economic interest

On June 11, 2025, in the capital city of Tashkent, as part of the IV International Investment Forum, a Bilateral Business Forum between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between "Glavbolgarstroy Holding" JSC and the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of "Glavbolgarstroy Holding" JSC by Mr. Kamen Peshov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and on behalf of Uzbekistan by Mr. Akram Aliev, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade. The agreement outlines joint efforts in areas such as the development of water, social, and residential infrastructure, the promotion of innovation, human capital development, and the exchange of expertise and best practices across various sectors of mutual interest.

Particular emphasis is placed on encouraging public-private partnerships as an effective and globally recognized mechanism for implementing major infrastructure projects, with the aim of achieving long-term efficiency and economic benefit for both countries.
