“Glavbolgarstroy” supported the celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”
The Faculty of Economics celebrated 35 years since its reestablishment as part of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." The anniversary was marked by a special event held in the Aula Magna of Sofia University, officially inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Stefanova, Executive Director of the ESG Lab and ESG Academy, as well as Director of the Master's Program "Responsible and Sustainable Management" at the faculty.
The event was attended by the Faculty's first Dean, Prof. Georgi Chobanov, who shared insights into the initial steps taken 35 years ago to reintegrate the faculty into Sofia University. Other prominent attendees included Prof. Dr. Deyan Radev, responsible for the Alumni Association of the institution, and architect Sava Kislyakov, who presented the faculty's six-year development and transformation concept. This vision aims to establish the faculty as a modern educational hub with a focus on decarbonization, circular solutions, sustainable management, and leadership.
Among the distinguished guests was Emil Angelov, CEO of Glavbolgarstroy Holding, who emphasized the significance of collaboration between academia and business.
