Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov inspected the rehabilitation of Central Railway Station Sofia.

The construction and assembly works at Sofia Central Railway Station have begun, with over 120 people working without interruption. The construction works are divided into two stages so as not to stop the operation of the railway station. We are currently working on the first stage, which includes 60% of the railway station complex. It is due to be completed by the beginning of January 2015, as so far the physical performance is about 12%. The site is expected to be commissioned by November 2015.
