On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, Stroitel, the newspaper of the Bulgarian construction sector, presented plaques of appreciation to its most deserving partners and individuals who contributed significantly to the newspaper's creation and development over the years. The award ceremony commenced with a plaque dedicated to a key figure behind the Stroitel newspaper's conception, Eng. Simeon Peshov, the president of Glavbolgarstroy. He notably introduced the pilot issue of the newspaper at a meeting of the extended Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber in Kyustendil on March 20, 2009.

"The first plaque today, as decided by the newspaper's Board of Directors, honors a man who, regrettably, is no longer with us. The esteemed builder and visionary, pivotal in founding both the Bulgarian Construction Chamber and Stroitel newspaper, Engineer Simeon Peshov. He served as the Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors in 2008 and 2009 and was the Honorary Chairman of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber. We express our deepest gratitude for his substantial support and contributions to the newspaper's establishment, growth, and acclaim," announced the event's host, Dragomir Simeonov. Mrs. Biserka Peshova, who accepted Eng. Peshov's plaque from Reneta Nikolova, the editor-in-chief, reflected on the initial excitement and dedication Simeon Peshov showed towards the newspaper's creation.

"I vividly recall the enthusiasm Simeon had when Stroitel was being founded 15 years ago. I extend my best wishes to the newspaper's entire team for continued success and many more anniversaries to come," Biserka Peshova remarked upon accepting the award.

The corporate group "Glavbolgarstroy" was also acknowledged for its strong partnership, support, and contributions towards the newspaper's growth and solidity. The plaque was bestowed upon Svetoslav Lyubomirov, a member of the Supervisory Board of Glavbolgarstroy Holding, by Engineer Plamen Pergelov, Chairman of the Stroitel newspaper's Board of Directors.

In gratitude, Svetoslav Lyubomirov praised the newspaper for being the builders' voice for the past 15 years. "The newspaper has been a steadfast supporter of the Chamber and our community of builders. It has successfully established itself as the industry's leading media outlet, consistently highlighting the challenges we face in our work," he added.
