“The competition in higher education is the most meaningful competition that we could have in our country,” said the Honorary Chairman of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber and President of “Glavbolgarstroy” Eng.Simeon Peshov at the annual award ceremony of the top universities in Bulgaria.

The award was received by the Prof.Ivan Kralov, Rector of the Technical University of Sofia. The university was rated first in six prefessional fields according to the rating system for evaluation of the higher education institutions.

“It is an honor for me to give this award to Professor Kralov. Right before the ceremony, I was at the construction site of a bridge with a tunnel over Struma River at Zheleznitsa. And there, working with innovative technologies, I saw young 30-35 year old professionally gifted and trained people”, Peshov said in his speech. And he promised that the business will look after the growth of the young people and provide the perspective they deserve.

“It is an honor and a joy for me. This initiative has motivated our candidate students for many years and has helped create the elite of the nation”, said Prof.Kralov.
