Restoring the design parameters of the Razgrad station.
Technical characteristics
The repair and reconstruction of the station are part of the complete renovation of the Ruse-Varna railway line.
The aim is to increase the speed of rail transport and improve the conditions in the station areas.
A complete reconstruction of the station's reception building is being carried out.
The renovation includes the refurbishment of premises, repurposing some of them, and replacing all plumbing, electrical, and HVAC installations.
Measures are being taken to improve the building's energy efficiency, including replacing windows, adding thermal insulation, and renovating the roof.
A photovoltaic plant is being built to meet the reception building's energy needs.
Provision of access for disadvantaged persons is also planned.
The rails, sleepers, and track switches in the station area are being replaced.
New signal posts and a new drainage system are being built.
Platforms are being repaired, and the catenary network on the station territory is being replaced.
This comprehensive reconstruction will help increase the speed, reliability, and security of railway transport.
At the same time, the working conditions of employees and the experience of passengers are being improved.
