Glavbolgarstroy discuss with ECTP potential partnerships
On a meeting held on Wednesday (December 16th), Glavbolgarstroy and the European Construction, Built Environment and Energy Efficient Building Technology Platform (ECTP) have discussed possibilities for mutual cooperation.
During the introductory gathering, GBS presented in details the Bulgarian construction corporate group, some of its flagship projects, as well as ongoing constructions and initiatives. The attention has been directed towards the company drive to innovation and sustainability, focusing specifically on ongoing Horizon 2020 projects and partnerships.
ECTP, on the other side, has revealed the main mission, goals, ongoing projects and initiatives of the organization, putting an emphasis on the development of new R&D&I strategies to improve competitiveness, meet societal needs & take up environmental challenges. Other issues that were touched upon during the talks included strategic challenges such as energy, climate change, efficiency & sustainability, which prove to become of utmost importance for the Built Environment (buildings, infrastructures, utility networks…) and Construction sector and need to be tackled within an integrated approach.
Both parties agreed to continue the already established dialogue/partnership both at Brussels level, but also locally in Bulgaria.
